Saponerie Mario Fissi is a company which has been producing laundry soaps, noodles and toiletries 100% Made in Italy since 1937. Eighty years after the birth of Saponerie Mario Fissi as an industrial entity, the company is still run today by a branch of the Fissi family.

The key elements of its business are quality assurance and production flexibility. The core business is the production of solid and noodles soap in continuous for large volumes. In the recent years, the company has improved also the craft process in boiler for small special productions.

In the past 10 years, the Fissi family and the staff are involved in new innovative projects and in developing under its own brands range of soaps, detergents, cosmetics and fragrances. This was the natural change that the company has faced to meet the needs of the market and customers in continuous evolution.

In 2016 with great pride Saponerie Fissi has obtained the 100% Made in Italy certification to seal the constant will and perseverance to never give up on quality. Even in the most difficult market moments, their mission is to always guarantee everyone its best production of Italian excellence in the entire production chain.

Our history

For over three generations the business has developed its private label collection. Unique, exclusive soaps made with great care and attention, while respecting the environment.

Saponerie Mario Fissi was born in 1925 when soap production was a cottage industry. The soaps were made using wood fires; each soap cut, stamped and packaged by hand and distributed by horse-drawn carriages to retailers.

Over the years the company, led by Mario Fissi became more structured until the foundations of the first factory were laid in 1948. This expansion gave soap- making a true identity and an industrial status.

Despite this constant evolution, the traditional manufacturing methods were not abandoned, but used as a foundation to develop specialised formulas, while retaining with care the original values, traditions and a high quality product.
